Artificial Intelligence at the Service of Society to Analyse Human Arguments

Argument(ation) mining (AM) is an area of research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) that aims to identify, analyse and automatically generate arguments natural language. In a pipeline, the identification analysis their components (i.e. premises claims) texts prediction relations attack support) are then handled by argument-based reasoning frameworks so that, for example, fallacies inconsistencies can be identified. Recently, field argument has tackled new challenges, namely evaluation quality (e.g. strength, persuasiveness), language summarisation retrieval, generation. this paper, I discuss my main contributions as well some lines future research.
